Ice Skating
Alpine Springs' Skating Rink is now operating year round!
Mid April to mid September the Skating Rink is open for Ice Skating. Over the warmer months, October to March/early April the Skating Rink is open for Inline and Roller Skating. Helmets are available free of charge to all skaters.
Please note the rink can be affected by adverse weather conditions and temperatures. Alpine Springs offers helmets at no cost for all skaters safety year round.
Alpine Springs offers a wide ranges of skates for both inline and ice skating. Skate lessons are also available from the friendly Alpine Springs staff.
Over the winter months the skating rink is often booked in the evenings for recreational purposes such as Ice Hockey and Curling. On Friday and Saturday nights over winter Alpine Springs host our famous Ice Discos from 8pm to 10pm, great fun for people of all ages.
PRICES:
Lessons available on request for minimum 20 persons - Extra $1.00 per student.
Group Bookings Available
Rink available for Group Bookings - Monday to Friday, 10am - 4.30pm. Bookings essential.
Payment to be made in one lump sum upon or before arrival.
GROUP BOOKINGS NOT AVAILABLE ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS OR AFTER 11AM WEEKENDS.
Learn to Skate
Casual lessons
$10 a session with own skates.
$12 a session without skates.
Pay for all 10 lessons in a lump sum and receive a 10% discount.
Full term
$90 with own skates.
$108 without skates.
Learn to skate caters for different levels and age groups. These sessions are a great way to learn a new sport, improve your skills, not only to become a dancer on the ice, but also to become more skilled and prepared for playing Ice Hockey. Have fun on the ice!
Learn to Skate is a casual skating school operating on Fridays from 5pm to 6pm.
