About Our Water
Alpine Springs’ outdoor hot pools have been designed and engineered with sustainability, energy efficiency and the environment in mind.
The water is derived from alpine springs on site and then heated to between 36 and 40 degrees in winter and 30 to 40 degrees over summer. Heat for the pools comes from by product heat produced from our refrigeration plant through heat exchangers.
In fact, for every kilowatt of electric power we use, we produce 3 to 4 kilowatts of heat - a very efficient and sustainable energy use.
A large sand filtration system and Wapotech technology keep our water crystal clear while looking after our environment, all for your enjoyment.
